Treating Sports Injuries without Surgery

At our practice, Dr. Matt Cleary encourages patients to consider chiropractic care for sports injuries. We use spinal adjustments and physical therapy techniques to relieve pain caused by sports and to help prevent re-injury. During your first visit with Dr. Matt Cleary, he will assess and diagnose your injury while creating a treatment plan to begin the recovery process. Chiropractors are trained to manage sports injuries through joint manipulation, soft tissue therapies, and individual exercises to properly heal an injury. Regardless of the injury, we treat the entire body and not one specific area that is causing pain. Medical doctors treat each injury individually and not the body as a whole. Your body works together which is why we stress chiropractic care to heal the entire body. Chiropractic care is an all-natural alternative to surgery and painkillers which is only a temporary solution to your pain. Our goal is to keep you on the field and off of the sidelines which is why we g...

Chiropractic Care for Athletes

For years, sports injuries have been treated with the use of painkillers and surgery. When athletes are given painkillers for injuries they are putting a band-aid on the issue instead of fixing it. While surgery is necessary in certain cases, it isn’t always the best option and can actually lead to re-injury. Painkillers can be addictive, which is why Dr. Matthew Cleary encourages athletes to seek chiropractic care for injuries and injury prevention. At Cleary Family Chiropractic, we use all natural methods of spinal manipulation and physical therapy techniques to treat injuries. The benefit of chiropractic care versus medical care is we treat the entire body for injuries rather than just targeting one specific area. Your body works together to function and everything is aligned as one, which is why it is important to treat the entire body. Our chiropractic methods are also preventive. Our focus is to help keep you in the game and off of the sidelines with an injury.  If you are feelin...
